I work across painting and fiber, exploring form, surface, and the quiet intelligence of materials. My practice is grounded in slow, attentive processes that allow image and structure to emerge through repetition, touch, and time.

Painting is central to my studio practice, where I investigate light, gesture, and color through a material-driven approach. Fiber processes—particularly felting and batik—extend this inquiry into three dimensions, engaging pattern, surface, and the physical presence of materials in space and on the body.

Alongside my studio work, I teach felting, batik, and painting through workshops and courses that emphasize material understanding, patience, and individual exploration rather than fixed outcomes.

Across media, I am interested in how materials transform through making—how resistance, accumulation, and attention shape both form and meaning over time.
